We do need to cut out extra long bread slices in half, but that is a rather small price to pay for properly toasted breakfast items.
Had for about a month now. Best toaster I've ever used - perfectly toasts bagels & bread. I can speak for durability yet, but KitchenAid usually makes good stuff.
